Dscoop celebrates digital print creativity at its largest EMEA conference to date

With approximately 1300 confirmed attendees at the ‘Dscoop Print Experience’ conference in Lyon, France – the 6th Dscoop conference in Europe, the Middle East and Africa since its launch in 2012 – this year’s event has been its most successful EMEA conference ever in terms of attendee numbers, exhibitor numbers and geographic reach.

“Obviously we’re delighted with the success of the conference in Lyon. Around 1300 attendees from 45 countries is a testament to the strength and enthusiasm of this community. More than the numbers, it’s the success stories we hear individually from our members that convinces me Dscoop is an unmissable event on any digital print innovator’s calendar,” comments Olivier Gravet, Dscoop Conference Chairman 2017.

Although details of the next annual EMEA conference are yet to be released, the Dscoop community will not lie dormant until 2018. “As we close the doors on our finest EMEA event yet, it is not a case of ‘see you next year’. We’re adding local events to our schedule all the time, revisiting some of our previous locations and adding new destinations,” comments Gravet. “This strategy is based on feedback from members that they want to maintain the relationships they build at the annual events throughout the year.”

Julian Marsh, Dscoop Global Board Chairman, adds, “In addition to our 25 annual conferences worldwide, Dscoop has organised 75 local events across 20 countries so far. We plan to boost that number even further, increasing our local events across the globe.”

“Between our annual conferences, online platform and local events, Dscoop provides huge scope for its members to network, learn, see the best of what the industry has to offer and, crucially, be inspired,” adds Gravet, “EMEA 6 was no exception with an extraordinary ‘celebration of creativity’ demonstrated in the Solutions Showcase, the pinnacle of Dscoop member work commended with Inkspiration awards, amongst the wealth of educational content in the conference programme.”

Supported by Executive Sponsor HP, Dscoop Diamond Partners Scodix and Trotec Laser, Platinum Partners ABG International, motioncutter, Antalis and IEN Industrie, and an additional 58 partners, the EMEA 6 event in Lyon was Dscoop’s 25th conference globally. Attracting 30,000 attendees from 80 countries to events so far, the community is growing year-on-year.

Further announcements on exciting new opportunities for Dscoop members will be made later this summer. Dscoop membership is free of charge, please sign up at dscoop.org/. Follow Dscoop on social media to stay up-to-date with the latest news.
