Forever announces Forever Box, Genward partnership at convention

FOREVER Boxes

Forever, Inc., the permanent memory-keeping company, hosted its 6th annual FOREVER LIVE! convention last weekend, and for the first time, it was held virtually due to COVID-19. More than 1,000 attendees logged on, making it the largest event FOREVER LIVE! event yet. The weekend featured business updates and new product announcements, classes on memory-keeping techniques, and community-building activities.

“Our mission at FOREVER is to help millions of people around the globe to save, organize, and share their memories today, tomorrow, and for many generations into the future,” said Glen Meakem, founder and CEO, FOREVER. “At FOREVER LIVE! we have the unique opportunity to interact directly with our most passionate FOREVER clients and Ambassadors to find out how we can continue to improve our products and services and serve them better.” (To hear more from Meakem about Forever, listen to his interview on The Dead Pixels Society podcast.)

Forever made several product announcements, including rollout of the “FOREVER BOX” to drive business to its in-house digital conversion business. The crush-resistant boxes (shown above) are available in three sizes – small, medium, and large – corresponding to a specific conversion credit of $79.99, $249.99, and $499.99. The box includes waterproof packaging materials. The conversion credit is applied to items to be converted: photos, films, videos, documents, videotapes, audiotapes, and so on.

Once clients receive their empty FOREVER BOX, they pack it with the items they wish to have converted, apply the pre-paid shipping label, and drop it off at any FedEx location. The box is then shipped to FOREVER for digitization. Clients track the progress in their FOREVER. The digitized files are uploaded to the client’s FOREVER account and the original materials are returned via FedEx.

“I am thrilled to announce this partnership with Genward,” said Meakem. “I am a Genward client myself, with Genward helping me to research my family history. Genward does an amazing job, delivering invaluable research and information. I believe in Genward and its services and I know that thousands upon thousands of FOREVER clients could benefit from working with Genward.”
