The Imaging Alliance elects two new board members

WOODBURY, NY, February 22, 2018The Imaging Alliance, the imaging industry’s leading trade association, today announced two new board members, continuing to diversity the scope of the trade association’s influence.

The new members are Peter Liebmann, national strategic accounts manager for Western Digital, and Ian Hamilton, president, technology sector, The NPD Group.

“We’ve always envisioned that The Imaging Alliance board should represent a diverse view of the Imaging Industry,” said Jerry Grossman, executive director, The Imaging Alliance. “Bringing the many facets of our industry together, from manufacturers and retailers to software developers, photo organization leaders and research experts, will allow us to expand the purview of The Imaging Alliance to all facets of visual innovation.”

The two new members bring the number of board members to 27, representing leading camera and accessory manufacturers, printers, software developers, research experts, retailers, publishers and consumer advocates. In addition, 25 photo specialty store executives are members of The Imaging Alliance.

“We believe in a strong industry association that can serve all segments of photography consumers, from professionals to those interested in artistic expression and the preservation of their family memories,” said Liebmann. “I look forward to working together with the great companies represented on this board to grow our industry.”
