Alice Camera raises $500,000 pre-seed

Alice Camera, the computational photography company designing a Micro Four-Thirds format camera, announced it raised a combined $500,000 pre-seed fundraising round, comprised of angel investors alongside early-stage venture capital firm, Ascension, which contributed $400,000, plus $100,000 Amazon Web Server (AWS) cloud computing credits to scale AI and computational photography pipeline for creators

The London-based startup is building an imaging device that accepts interchangeable lenses and connects directly to iOS and Android phones for added functionality. The device can be used, with a limited feature set, without the smartphone connection.
