Axios reports Snappr, a service for connecuting customers to professional photographers, is expanding to Europe after raising a $28 million Series B round. CEO Matt Schiller told Axios: “We have brands that have done hundreds of thousands of shoots with us. They have particular needs and specs, [and] we have an app that creators can use to access the brand guidelines live while they’re on a shoot.”

The platform, now available in 57 cities, helps with managing and editing visual assets, and it can also generate AI-enhanced images that align with brand guidelines. As part of its European launch, it now supports five additional languages: French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Dutch.
Back in 2020, Snappr raised $10 million in Series A funding to further develop its photographer and visual content marketplace. That year it also bought competitor Eversnap. The company had previously raised $3 million in previous seed and angel rounds.
