March 6 and 7, 2019, photokina will stage the Business Forum Imaging Cologne 2019 at the Congress-Center East of Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany. Under its new title “Create the unseen”, the event will focus on the exciting opportunities for the imaging industry that became obvious at photokina 2018.
In fact, innovative digital technologies make it possible to capture the previously invisible. Artificial intelligence identifies image content, shows the consumers pathways through the flood of images and enables the design of fascinating imagery, which can be combined with other media to create completely new, hitherto unseen results. The ubiquitous connectivity makes it possible to share these results in real time with others, to turn them into high-quality physical and digital picture products, and to advance into new dimensions of visual communication with the help of Computer-Generated Imaging (CGI) as well as Virtual, Mixed and Augmented Reality.
