Dr. Christian Friege, CEO of CEWE to speak at Visual 1st conference

Visual 1st, the premier global conference focused on promoting innovation and partnerships in the photo and video ecosystem, announces that Dr. Christian Friege, CEO of CEWE, will participate in a fireside chat session at Visual 1st, called “CEWE: the European market leader’s growth surge in a mature photo print market.”

In just 2 years at the helm of CEWE, CEO Dr. Christian Friege can boast of fast-growing revenues and a soaring stock price. CEWE’s photofinishing sales are up more than 11% YoY for the first half of this year; its stock has gone up 40% since January.

This is a remarkable accomplishment, according to Hans Hartman, chair of Visual 1st, as CEWE is a large company that operates in a mature market. CEWE counts 4,000 employees and runs 12 print plants that produce 6.2 million photobooks a year, printing 2.2 billion photos.
