FUJIFILM’s fourth-quarter earnings down, but revenue is up

FUJIFILM Holdings Corp. reported a net income of ¥54.1 billion in the fourth quarter ended Mar 31, 2022, compared with ¥54.7 billion in the year-ago quarter. Revenues of ¥664.9 billion increased 7.4% year over year.

For the year (April, 2021 to March, 2022) the company reported revenues of ¥2525.8 billion, up 15.2% year over year. Net income stood at ¥211.2 billion compared with ¥181.2 billion in the previous year.

The Imaging Solutions segment’s revenues were ¥73.2 billion, up 9.9% from the year-ago quarter’s levels. Consumer Imaging and Professional Imaging revenues rose 15.1% and 2.2% on a year-over-year basis, respectively.
