Dispo app raises $20 million

Dispo, the single-use-camera-inspired photo app, has raised $20 million in Series A funding, according to Axios. The company was co-founded by YouTuber star David Dobrik. The $20 million Series A funding led by Spark Capital results in a valuation of about $200 million. The startup raised $4 million in seed funding led by Alexis Ohanian’s Seven Seven Six fund in the fall, nearly a year after launching its original app, then called “David’s Disposable.”

Fotomerchant Suite v2.17 released

Fotomerchant announced a new Fotomerchant Media Library with a variety of green screen backgrounds. The company also fixed a bug in the Media Library chooser of the admin interface. In folders with a large number of items, the thumbnail images would sometimes not appear when scrolling.
