In her new role, Tessa Du Plooy will take full responsibility for all aspects of marketing for Taopix globally. Having been a customer of Taopix already for the last 9 years, Tessa is uniquely positioned to also help Taopix customers grow effectively so will also take an active role in building the Professional Services division launched by Taopix earlier this year.

“We’ve known Tessa for many years and have been continually impressed with her knowledge of the sector. Tessa understands our business and has an intimate knowledge of our product, but most importantly, an incredible understanding of the business of our customers and specifically how to build and grow successful photo commerce businesses,” explains Nigel Lee, Executive Chairman at Taopix. “Being able to speak ‘fluent customer’ is invaluable and I’m sure Tessa will be an enormous asset to the senior team here at Taopix. We are focussed 100% on the success of our customers in everything we do, having Tessa on board will give us invaluable insight and help us constantly improve in everything we do,” adds Lee.

“I am passionate about playing a role in preserving memories, you cannot simply look at Photo Commerce as a business.  You are helping ensure that years from now, your clients will have something concrete to treasure every special moment captured. The years that I have spent working with Taopix as a client, has made it clear that they will do whatever it takes to ensure their customers’ success, and I am honored to play part in growing the business,” says du Plooy.

“I have played a part in building and growing two Photo Commerce empires, and if it has taught me one thing, it is that you need to be the leader, not the follower. Sure, companies will try and replicate your innovations, but take it as a compliment, not an insult. One thing Taopix understands more than any other software provider in the space is that innovation is king and exactly what helps Taopix’ customers differentiate,” continues du Plooy.

This week at Photokina 2018, Taopix is launching some very innovative products that will leave no doubt that they are the leaders in Photo Commerce Software. This is a great opportunity for customers and prospects to come and meet the Taopix team and to meet Tessa in person. Taopix will be located in Hall 5.1, Aisle A, stand 20.
