ARwall Releases ARFX Infinite Studio 2 v2.0.11, Bringing Image-to-3D Environment Generation to Independent Creators

ARwall, the company that pioneered LED Volume virtual production for major Hollywood productions, announced the release of ARFX Infinite Studio 2 version 2.0.11, an update to its free AI-powered virtual production platform. The centerpiece of this release is a new Studio Brain capability that enables creators to transform images into immersive 3D environments ready for virtual production, powered by Gaussian Splat generation. The update is available now as a free download for Windows and iOS.

Version 2.0.11 introduces a new image-to-environment workflow inside Studio Brain, the AI engine at the core of ARFX Infinite Studio 2. Creators can now input an image and receive a more dimensional, spatially-rendered 3D-style environment suited for virtual production, including use behind LED walls, in content creation setups, and in AI-assisted filmmaking workflows.

The capability is powered by Gaussian Splat generation, a technology that adds real depth and spatial quality to generated visuals, the company said. This release also improves depth map generation across the platform, making existing and new environments more dimensional and usable inside production workflows. Older images may require regeneration to take full advantage of the improved depth map output.
