ColorCentric shutters 4EverBooks, offers Dakis partnership

ColorCentric Corp., Rochester, NY., advised photo-specialty customers its white-label 4EverBooks photobook service was discontinued, offering a partnership with Dakis in to replace it. Customers using the Dakis platform can choose ColorCentric as fulfillment partner for photo books, canvas, metal prints and other on-demand photo products. Photobooks will be made using Dakis’ book-builder interface. Customer projects in process through the 4EverBooks desktop software will be fulfilled by SmileBooks, ColorCentric’s consumer site.

Similarly, also closed is the Professional Photo Albums site, with customers also being redirected to the consumer-friendly SmileBooks.com site. In both cases, SmileBooks photobooks are available without logos and branding, making them suitable for wholesale work.
