Fastbind released two updates to its book-binding product line. The Casing-In sheet, compatible with an EVA or PUR perfect binder, allows the book content to be bound like a soft cover and then, off line, cased into a hard cover.

The company also debuted the Fastbind EVA XT, allowing printers to bind both soft and hard cover books up to SRA3 portrait fast. The new improved paper grain opener and glue applicator adds more precise control to the binding process than ever before, the company says.
