FUJIFILM North America Corp., Imaging Division, has announced the U.S. introduction of the instax mini Evo Cinema, which was previously announced last week. The only real difference is that the “Eras Dial” on the Japanese version is called a “Gen Dial” on the U.S. version. The Gen Dial allows users to apply photo effects from 10 different eras to their image.
“mini Evo Cinema offers the best of both worlds – the vintage look of an 8mm video camera, with all of the modern functionality of a hybrid image creation tool, integrating photo, video, and print in one unique package,” said Bing Liem, division president, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Imaging Division. “mini Evo Cinema delivers a smooth, unique photographic experience that gives the user a myriad of ways to turn casual moments into unforgettable ones.”
instax mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera will be available in early February 2026 at an MSRP of $409.95 USD and $479.99 CAD.

Fujifilm also introduced a new instax mini Link+ smartphone printer. The latest iteration in the instax mini Link smartphone printer lineup, mini Link+ updates its free instax mini Link smartphone app, with new and enhanced print modes designed to capture both the aesthetic of the creator and the moment, the company claims.
instax mini Link+ smartphone printer and the updated instax mini Link smartphone app will be available in early February 2026 at an MSRP of $169.95 USD and $189.99 CAD.
With mini Link+, users can utilize Simple Print mode in the instax mini Link app to print photos directly from their smartphone’s camera roll, or even print out their Pinterest pins for some handheld inspiration. Simulation mode lets the user see what the photos will look like before they print, whether the image is going on a wall, a shelf, a table, or more. Multiple Print Mode on the instax mini Link smartphone app lets users print up to 10 images they have previewed and selected in Simulation Mode.
Within the instax mini Link smartphone app, the Video Print feature allows users to isolate the perfect frame within a video they have shot with their smartphone, and output that frame as a printed image.
Additional features within the instax mini Link smartphone app include:
• Remote shooting capability
- Collage Print functionality – Users can gather multiple images and print them in collage format on a single instax mini print
• Light/Dark user interface modes
- instaxAiR Studio feature – Users can add 3D Augmented Reality effects before taking photos in the app
