General Formulations, a family-owned manufacturer of pressure-sensitive media located in West Michigan, has donated a full trailer wrap to the Mary Free Bed Wheelchair and Adaptive Sports Program, supporting its mission to bring movement and opportunity to individuals with physical disabilities.

Wheelchair and adaptive sports provide critical benefits for individuals with physical disabilities, improving fitness, coordination, self-esteem, and community connection. Mary Free Bed Wheelchair and Adaptive Sports is one of the largest programs of its kind in the nation, offering adaptive skiing, wheelchair basketball, sled hockey, and more for both children and adults. The trailer is used year-round to haul a fleet of sport wheelchairs and essential equipment to clinics, competitions, and community events across the region.

“At General Formulations, we were absolutely able and excited to help bring this vision to life,” said Jay Kroll, Director of Product Education at General Formulations. “This project means the world to me—not just professionally, but personally. My daughter is a double amputee and is part of this incredible program. She plays sled hockey and is thriving thanks to the support and opportunities Mary Free Bed provides.”

Also located in West Michigan, General Formulations partnered with Design Edge Sign Company to print and install the vibrant new trailer design. Designed in bright oranges and vibrant greens, the wrap boldly features the program’s message: “Connect. Move. Inspire.” The donated materials GF 830 AutoMark Cast with GF 831 Laminate are known for its high-performance, durability and premium finish—perfect for the program’s high-visibility needs. The trailer’s new look is more than just eyecatching; it’s a reflection of identity and empowerment.
