Arashi Vision Inc., the Chinese parent company behind the Insta360 brand, reported sharply higher revenue but significantly lower profitability for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2026. The results highlight the growing costs of competing in the action-camera and 360-degree imaging markets, as well as greater R&D expenses. The company attributed profitability pressure to rising memory component costs, increased research and development spending, and investment in its emerging panoramic drone business.

Third-quarter revenue was approximately CNY 3.92 billion, up 33.3% from the comparable 2025 period. Operating earnings were negative, however, underscoring the disconnect between sales growth and profitability.
