Instagram Checkout

Instagram introduced a new capability to called “Checkout on Instagram” where the user can directly buy a product without leaving the app. When the user taps to view from a brand’s shopping post, a “Checkout on Instagram” button will be on the shopping page. Shoppers can select from various options, like size and color, then can proceed to checkout within the app. (The user only needs to add name, email, billing information and shipping address the first time). The program is currently in closed beta in the United States. Currently, the program is aimed at fashion brands like Adidas, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Burberry, Dior, H&M and more.
