Layflat LF2000 to debut at Printing United

The new Layflat LF2000 All-In Max fully automatic bookbinding system from Layflat.com for creating top-quality layflat photobooks will make its first appearance at the PRINTING United Expo, Oct. 19-21, in Las Vegas. The system will process all paper sizes from 203 mm x 203 mm (8” x8”) to 530 mm x 460 mm (21” x 18”), with an automatic paper alignment system, making it fully compatible with both the HP Indigo 12000 and 15K digital presses.

This All-In Max system integrates auto feeding, creasing, folding, spinning pressing, and book block assembling into a single machine. It creates photobooks by gluing simplex pages back-to-back as well as inserting cardboard in between sheets. Maximum speed is 2,000 A3 sheets/hr.; with cardboard inserts 1,000 A3 pages/hr. It accepts sheet thickness from 0.15mm-0.3mm and cardboard thickness 0.35mm -1.00mm. The finished book block can have a width (open) of 203mm- 914mm and a height of 203mm-530mm with a maximum thickness of 50mm. Touchscreen controls make it easy to operate.

“After many discussions with international PSPs, we developed the Layflat LF2000 All-in Max to meet their requirements,“ said Djawad Khorosh, CEO of Layflat.com. “Created during COVID, this machine is designed to CE standards, along with low cost maintenance and remote monitoring.”
