MAC Group announces distribution of CineEye Wireless Video Transmission System

Accsoon CineEye 5G transmitter

MAC Group announces the distribution of CineEye Wireless Video Transmission System from Accsoon, which lets users send a T1080p video signal from the CineEye attached to a camera to up to four mobile devices. This allows videographers, crew members, and clients to use their existing mobile devices to monitor shot. By transmitting a wi-fi signal directly to iOS or Android devices, the CineEye allows the user to use the device that they already have – their phone or tablet, according to the press release. With an average latency of around 100ms – the CineEye has nearly undetectable lag while maintaining a high-quality image via its strong wireless signal, the company claims. The battery lasts up four hours.

The $249 CineEye weighs 175g (.4lbs), so mounting the CineEye on a camera rig or gimbal setup shouldn’t affect operation or take up much room in a bag, the company says.
