Mag-nificent photo experiences partners with Franchise Beast to market franchise

The Atlanta-based event and photography business has teamed with Orlando-based Franchise Beast to market the franchise opportunity to entrepreneurs across the United States

Mag-nificent Instant Photo Experiences has partnered with franchise sales company Franchise Beast to expand their event photography franchise across Florida and the Southeast through 2019, with plans for coast-to-coast expansion as soon as 2020. Mag-nificent currently has franchises operating in Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia and Atlanta.

Andrew Levison, President and Founder of Mag-nificent, said the company partnered with Franchise Beast to strengthen their salesforce in response to a large influx of prospects after exhibiting at franchise shows across the Southeast. “We were overwhelmed by the response to our franchise opportunity when we put ourselves out there,” said Levison. “Prospects are calling from all over the country with interest in Mag-nifcent because they see an opportunity to start their own business in the events industry that is affordable, fun and exciting every single day.”

James Emerson, CEO of Franchise Beast, said he is excited to partner with Mag-nificent because it’s a unique business opportunity. “We are always looking for franchise brands that are on the cusp of greatness with potential for massive growth. Mag-nificent is one of those brands. It’s unique, it’s scalable, it’s affordable, it’s low overhead, it’s high margin, and it’s a franchise you can start from home and work when you want to. There’s a great demand for just that kind of affordable photography franchise in the event industry.”

Mag-nificent magnets

Mag-nificent’s business model is based on offering personalized, keepsake photo magnets to attendees at all types of events from weddings, birthday parties, family reunions and all the way up to huge concerts, NBA playoff games and giant corporate conferences. A photographer works the room, taking candid and posed shots of attendees. The photos are then printed on magnets and offered free of charge to attendees to take home. “The event organizer pays Mag-nificent,” Levison said, “We will never charge attendees for our services or products.”

Other services offered by Mag-nificent include, a “Video Cube” that is a fun way for guests to leave video messages that can be shared on social media by the event organizer, a “Photo Cube” to capture funny moments, and a proprietary app that lets attendees send and share photos during and after the event. Levison said the app is Mag-nificent’s “secret sauce” that sets the company apart from other event photo companies. Levison said the app is available for Apple and Android devices and “allows real-time sharing with instant on-site printing.” The “MagApp” allows event attendees to participate by creating their own event photo memories and sharing them to the organizer’s social media feed in real time.

Mag-nifcent was founded in 2011 in Atlanta after Levison returned from a trip to Europe. “Photo magnets are a big thing over there. People love to keep mementos from events and parties they’ve attended — something tangible they won’t throw away or lose in a sea of photos on their phones. We wanted to bring that to the United States, so we founded Mag-nificent to offer unique photo experiences stateside.”

Levison said the company enjoyed success immediately, becoming a go-to vendor for event and party planners across Atlanta, and soon at big events across the country. “People loved our product immediately, and since then, we’ve taken it from that single concept and added a whole suite of what we call unique instant photo experiences all tied together with proprietary mobile app to create a series of options that’s really unique and that has a solution for any type of event.”

Mag-nificent began to offer franchises in 2018 and the company has since opened three locations. Emerson said franchisees love the business model because they are able to start small and grow big. “Mag-nificent is a low startup franchise that provides unique event services at all types of events and allows franchisees to work in a fun and profitable industry.”

Andrew Levison founded Mag-nificent in 2011 to provide instant photo magnets to clients for all sorts of special events in Atlanta Metro. Today Mag-nificent offers a wide range of unique instant photo experiences including their famous Photo Magnets, Photo Cube, Video Cube, MagApp, RetroPix, Prints, Green Screens and Trading Cards. Magnificent is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia with franchise locations operating across the country.
