MemoryWeb photo organizing app will end service March 17, 2025

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

MemoryWeb, the popular photo organization app designed to help users – particularly family historians, preserve and manage their digital images by embedding metadata directly into photo files – is now “read-only,” meaning you can no longer upload photos to your account, according to a blog post. The company is pivoting around one of the key features of the original MemoryWeb app, and that creation is an app called PhotoFlipz. In 2023, the Chicago-based company was named #9 on Crain’s Chicago Business Most Innovative Companies List.

Users are asked to export their stored images using the desktop tool.
