Perfect Corp. reports third-quarter revenue up 14%

Perfect Corp., an AI/AR company for the beauty, fashion, photo and video creative industries, thirdquarter revenue was $18.1 million for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2025, compared to $15.9 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 14.2%. The increase was primarily due to strong growth momentum in the revenue of mobile app and web services subscriptions.

AI- and AR- cloud solutions and subscription revenue were $16.4 million for the three months, compared to $15.1 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 8.7%. The increase was driven by the continued revenue growth of YouCam mobile apps and web services subscriptions, the continued popularity among consumers of Generative AI technologies and AI editing features for photos and videos, and the stable demand for thecompany’s online virtual product try-on solutions from brand customers.

Licensing revenue was $0.6 million, compared to $0.5 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 8.0%.

Other revenue was $1.2 million for the three months, compared to $0.3 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 286.1%.

Net income was $0.1 million for the three months, compared to $1.1 million during the same period of 2024, a decrease of 94.2%. The decrease in net income was primarily due to the recognition of an impairment loss of $2.0 million relating to goodwill arising from the acquisition of Wannaby in 2025 and the lower interest income resulting from a decline in interest rates.

Financial Results for the Year

Total revenue was $69.2 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, compared to $60.2 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 14.9%.

AI- and AR- cloud solutions and subscription revenue was $61.1 million for the year, compared to $53.8 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 13.5%. The increase was driven by the continued revenue growth of YouCam mobile apps and web services subscriptions.

Licensing revenue was $5.3 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, compared to $5.2 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 1.7%.

Others revenue was $2.8 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, compared to $1.2 million in the same period of 2024, an increase of 133.8%. The increase was primarily driven by the growth of virtual points purchased and consumed by end users. Virtual points are used for AI-powered services available on YouCam mobile apps and web services.

Net income was $4.6 million for the year, compared to $5.0 million during the same period of 2024, a decrease of 7.5%.
