Australian Photography reports photobook brand Momento has been revived under new ownership, returning with updated technology, premium materials, and a renewed focus on travel photobooks.

The well-regarded Momento closed in 2024 after 20 years in business; the new company launched in October 2025 after the brand name and website were purchased by Peter Thomas, owner of Melbourne printing supplier PhotobookShop, the company said.

PhotobookShop had already acquired many of Momento’s assets earlier in the year, but at the time was not able to take over the business itself.
