Photobox launches “Invites, not presents” campaign

UK photo site Photobox is launching a Christmas shopping campaign to encourage people to create printed gifts, according to the Campaign website. With references to calendars, canvases, and photobooks, the TV ad – which will run across Europe – describes photographs as “invites to more together time” and “the stories we’ve yet to make”.

“We’ve seen the potency of our human need for togetherness during Covid,” Mark Singleton, chief customer officer at Photobox, told the website. “Christmas is going to look very different this year, so the usual nostalgia for the ‘perfect Christmas’ just won’t cut it. We want to inspire people to look forwards positively rather than backward.”
