Printful to move California fulfillment center

Printful is moving its California fulfillment center from Chatsworth to Valencia in the third quarter of 2021. The move will include a doubling of the plant’s workforce to 200. The Valencia facility, at 93,000 square feet, is nearly three times larger than the one in Chatsworth. The company plans on investing $10 million to triple the number of direct-to-garment printers and purchase additional equipment for embroidery and poster fulfillment.

“California is our busiest state in terms of deliveries,” comments Davis Siksnans, CEO and co-founder, Printful. “It’s necessary to stay in this area and expand our operations to fulfill the needs of our ever-growing customer base, and since LA is home to central shipping hubs, we’ll be able to maintain fast delivery times,

Just like the current California location, the Valencia facility will offer HQ pick up (the option to pick up orders directly from the fulfillment center). The Valencia facility will also offer warehousing services. At the moment, warehousing is available in Latvia, Spain, North Carolina, and Canada, and the current California facility offers warehousing for pack-ins only.
