Profoto Holding AB reported improved third-quarter 2026 results, with sales increasing 7.9% to SEK 128 million, compared with SEK 119 million a year earlier. Organic growth was 7.7%, although the company cautioned the improvement came against weak 2025 results.
Operating profit (EBIT) reached SEK 19 million, compared with a loss of SEK 57 million last year. EBITDA increased to SEK 40 million from SEK 4 million. Results benefited from cost reductions and a SEK 15 million refund of U.S. tariffs.
Regional performance varied significantly. Americas sales increased 20.2% organically to SEK 54 million, while EMEA grew 14.6% to SEK 48 million. APAC sales declined 21.1%, reflecting weakening demand in China, although Japan benefited from large LED lighting orders.
For the first nine months, sales declined 7.7% to SEK 419 million, while EBIT improved to SEK 35 million from a SEK 22 million loss.
CEO Anders Hedebark said the company continues refining its offerings for studios, creators and cinema professionals. The rollout of the Profoto ProPanel LED lighting system is progressing as planned, with installations in productions worldwide.
Hedebark cautioned competitive pressures remain intense and a rapid market recovery is unlikely, despite improved profitability and a stronger balance sheet.
