To commemorate the 30th annniversary of the RICOH GR1 film camera, Ricoh Corp. has introduced an anniversary edition of the RICOH GR IV featuring a shutter release button and rear buttons with a color scheme themed on the first-generation GR1. It also comes with a special-edition ring cap with a diamond-cut finish inspired by the area around the lens of the GR1. The ring cap is specially designed so that the diamond-cut surfaces catch the light when the lens is retracted, without causing unwanted reflections on the subject during shooting. This camera also features a special power-off graphic that appears when the camera is turned off. Additionally, this special-edition model comes with exclusive accessories: a genuine leather finger strap engraved with “30th ANNIVERSARY,” a metal hot shoe cover engraved with the 30th anniversary logo, and 16 different special pin badges. The camera will be available in October and limited to 6,000 units worldwide.
