Sirui USA launches $699 50mm F1.8 Anamorphic Lens

Sirui USA launched its 50mm F1.8 Anamorphic Lens, following a successful $1.2 million Indiegogo campaign. This lens is available in three mounts and will deliver anamorphic features at a great value for a fraction of the cost, the company claims.

Featuring a 1.33x squeeze factor, the SIRUI 50mm F1.8 anamorphic lens produces 4K high- definition cinematic 2.4:1 video with a 33-percent increase of the horizontal field of view to achieve a FOV equivalent to an APS-C 37.5mm lens. Producing Sci-Fi shots with brushed and backlighting effects and with a simple turn of the aperture ring will optimize the depth of view and bokeh effect.
