Snapbar rebrands Studio Headshots function as Scale Headshots

Snapbar, the former photobooth company turned AI-powered experiential imaging company, has rebranded its Studio Headshots offering to Scale Headshots. According to a post by founder Sam Eitzen, the move was a recognition of how the headshots business, which spun off from its Snapbar platform, is a separate function.

Scale Headshots is a self-service platform for managing professional company headshots. Team members take their own photos using a mobile-friendly app, and the platform handles background removal, AI enhancement, and style application automatically. It serves companies from 5 to 50,000+ employees and offers a REST API for integrating headshots into HRIS, CRM, and onboarding systems. Scale Headshots was originally built as part of Snapbar’s experiential marketing platform and is now its own dedicated brand.

Eitzen said, that company headshots became a fundamentally different use case with different buyers, different sales cycles, and different success metrics. The headshots product needed more dedicated focus, a new brand identity, and the marketing attention it deserved. He added Snapbar has partnered with Helium Development, a Gig Harbor, Washington, development firm, for the project. Overall, he said, current customers will not see a change.
