Italian app publisher Bending Spoons has filed its Form F-1 with the SEC to go public with a $20 billion valuation on the NASDAQ exchange, according to Reuters. The company has busily acquaired more than 50 companies, including these in the imaging space: Vimeo, FiLMiC, and Remini. According to the report, the $20 billion valuation target is a massive step up from Bending Spoons’ $11.7 billion valuation following a funding round late last year — which itself was a major jump from its $2.8 billion valuation in 2024. Bending Spoons is known for buying established technology brands, like AOL, WeTransfer, Evernote, and then laying large portions of the acquired companies’ staff.

Founded in 2013, Bending Spoons reported a net income of $27.5 million on revenue of $601 million for the three months ended March 31, compared to a net loss of $112.2 million on revenue of $259 million a year earlier, according to Reuters. Bending Spoons and some stockholders plan to sell shares in the IPO ‌offering.
