South Africa’s Jetline chooses Taopix platform for personalized photo products

Jetline, South Africa’s leading Print on Demand services company has selected the world’s leading provider of photo commerce software as the platform for its Photo Solutions business.

Jetline is a full-service one-stop-shop for printing and print solutions in South Africa. Selling to both the consumer and enterprise market, Jetline makes everything from Business Cards to Billboards. Employing more than 600 people, Jetline’s business is broad and structured around a number of business areas; Printing and Design, Branding and POS Solutions, Web Development and Digital Solutions, Diskmakers CD & DVD and Photo Solutions. It is for the Photo Solutions business that Jetline has chosen Taopix.

Jetline will use Taopix to support a number of product lines including Photo Books, Calendars, Greetings Cards and Wall Décor (Canvas).

“I’d used Taopix for many years in my previous job. It was a very easy decision to choose Taopix for Jetline,” says Tessa Duplooy, Project Manager at Jetline. “What I love about Taopix is the team. Taopix really listens to their customers and then build software that enables us to improve revenue with innovative and exciting solutions for our customers,” continues Duplooy.

For Jetline, innovation is the key to success. Versatility is also very important in allowing Jetline to be as imaginative as possible in formulating attractive products for their customers.

“Taopix’ level and frequency of innovation was a very important factor in our software selection. Innovation from our software partner is key for us to differentiate our products in order to attract and convert customers,” says John Shalala, Managing Director at Jetline. “The Taopix platform is incredibly versatile and this allows us to be as creative as we can with our own business. We were particularly impressed with the new Easy Editor, this will allow us to promote more interesting products to our customers who prefer a more mobile device orientated experience.”

Taopix has a well-established leadership position in providing its software to the print sector but increasingly sees a huge amount of interest from retailers and e-commerce players. “It’s wonderful to welcome Jetline to the Taopix family, their innovative and creative approach will be an asset to Taopix as we shape our product for the future.” says Steffen Haaga, Commercial Director of Taopix. “While Jetline manufactures their own high-quality end products, we see very clearly that their success is built out of a firm understanding of what it takes to succeed on the internet. Increasingly our new customers are strong e-commerce centric businesses, whether they manufacture or not,” concludes Haaga.

Jetline are in the process of taking their new software live and will continue to rollout during the remainder of 2018.
