Two Metadata Camps scheduled for this fall

LaCour-Niesen and the Association of Professional Photo Organizers (APPO) are teaming up for a pair of hands-on workshops, called “Metadata Camp,” for anyone interested in advancing their photo organizing skills. The workshops will be in Decatur, Ga., Oct. 22-24, and in Los Angeles, Calif., Nov. 13-15.

Topics include:

  • Why metadata matters
  • How you can make sure it’s embedded in photos
  • How you can use your metadata expertise to increase your credibility with clients
  • How you can help your clients collaborate with family members to capture metadata
  • How to create a sustainable, efficient workflow for managing collections of images
  • Which tech tools and software are best suited for you and your clients
  • How to expertly use Adobe Lightroom and PhotoMechanic
  • New pricing strategies that will increase your revenue

You’re invited to attend metadata camp, a hands-on workshop where you will improve your photo workflow and software expertise. By mastering digital image workflow and image (metadata) management, you’ll be more confident about selling your services to clients. \
