In recognition of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month in November, Vivid-Pix, a leader in Photo Reminiscence Therapy (pRT) research, scanning, restoring, and archiving treasured photos and memories, announced that now through “Giving Tuesday” on Dec. 3rd, 5% of all Vivid-Pix sales will be donated to The Alzheimer’s Association.

“Vivid-Pix is deeply committed to the fight against Alzheimer’s and propelling non-pharmacological activities that can improve the social and health well-being of those living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers,” stated Rick Voight, CEO, Vivid-Pix. “We’ve witnessed firsthand how pRT can reduce social isolation, improve medication compliance, and enhance cognitive performance. That’s why we’re dedicated to making this therapy affordable and accessible to all who need it as well as supporting others work to help our community.”

Vivid-Pix is collaborating with esteemed organizations, including the National Institute for Dementia Education and CERTUS Institute, conducting important research and pilot projects across multiple states studying the tangible benefits of pRT and the need for affordable, non-pharmacological technologies to assist the growing, aging population and their caregivers. The research took a leap forward in August when these pioneers in pRT began their second research project in Colorado, Florida, and Wisconsin. Partnering with Talem Home Care & Placement Services, this study aims to further understand and improve brain health and therapeutic activities using treasured memories. Each step Vivid-Pix takes is fueled by caring, hope and determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the aging population and their caregivers.
