WaldoPro unveils SmartMate to improve memory-mate creation with AI

WaldoPro announced SmartMate, an AI-powered custom print configurator designed to improve the way volume photographers create memory mates for sports team and individual photography. SmartMate enables photographers to offer the most contemporary memory mate products with dynamically tailored designs that automatically match the backdrop and color scheme to the athlete’s sport and jersey colors, the company said.

With SmartMate, photographers no longer need to manually design each memory mate for every athlete:

• Create an Asset Library Once: Photographers can build a library of backgrounds, foregrounds, logos, and memory mate templates tagged by sport and color.
• Automate Photo Placement: Individual and team composite photos, captured on green, gray, or white screen, are automatically dropped into the memory mate template in the designed floating nodes.
• Dynamic Design Matching: SmartMate’s AI ensures that backgrounds and foregrounds are perfectly aligned with the athlete’s sport and jersey colors, delivering graphics contextual to the athletes’ sport and with a color scheme optimized to the jersey.
