Adobe adds generative AI to Photoshop

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Adobe Inc. added generative AI to its Photoshop subscription. Users will be able to tap into Firefly, which is Adobe’s set of generative AI models, directly in the Photoshop desktop (beta) app . Users can use their one natural language prompts to extend and augment images using  Generative Fill. These prompts can be used to add content, remove or replace parts of an image and extend the edges of an image. Adobe created a new generative layer type so users can work non-destructively. In addition, Generative Fill is also available as a module within the Firefly beta.
