General Formulations introduced GF 885AE RoughMark Cast 2.0 mil / 50 mic gloss white cast vinyl, a new print film that is poised to be the definitive wall wrap material for the graphics industry. GF 885AE RoughMark Cast combines the technology of General Formulations (GF) High-Tack Removable (HTR) adhesive with the performance of a GF 2.0 mil / 50 mic gloss cast vinyl for a multisurface compatible material. Whether smooth or textured walls, indoor or outdoor, GF 885AE offers maximum conformability, durability, and removability, the company said. It’s designed for short and long-term murals on brick, cement, cinder block, and other textured surfaces, and can be used for column wraps, traditional wall graphics, and more.

GF 885AE RoughMark Cast film features a grey solvent, high-tack removable adhesive on a 90# air-egress layflat liner. Its adhesive is proven to perform on a wide range of smooth and rough surfaces, tackling challenges like low and zero VOC paints on drywall, textured trash cans, painted metal, wood, plastic surfaces, glass, and beyond, according to General Formulations. GF 885AE is designed for ease of installation, long-term durability, and clean removal. It can also be matched with the full line of GF Cast Laminates with options ranging from high gloss to ulti-matte, for a beautiful wrap every time. It is available in 54-inch x 75-foot and 54-inch x 150-foot sizes. GF’s high-quality products are manufactured in the U.S.A. at its headquarters in Sparta, Mich.

“This material is flexible and forgiving, easy to install, and will amaze you with how well it conforms to complex surfaces,” says Jay Kroll, product manager of General Formulation’s Cut, Transit, and Wall Solutions. “If you’re wrapping cars, you should be wrapping walls too—and this film has the features and quality you need to exceed your customer’s expectations.”
