Google Photos is adding two more ways for consumers to print their photos, including a revival of its monthly print subscription service. Google Photos tested a $7.99 monthly 10-unit 4×6 cardstock photo subscription service earlier this year but discontinued in June. Google uses AI to choose the photos. In the newest service, the photos are still chosen by AI but the price is dropped to $6.95.
Google also announced retail pick up 4×6, 5×7, or 8×10 photo prints through Google Photos is now available same day in the United States from Walgreens. This nearly doubles the total number of stores available for same-day prints, the company said. Retail pick up is already available from CVS Pharmacy and Walmart.
