H+H Color Lab, based in Raytown, Mo., has announced the acquisition of Dallas, Texas-based Full Color, a leading professional lab, effective Dec. 22. Terms weren’t disclosed. Founded in 1978 by Paul and Helen Fuller, Full Color built a solid national reputation as a professional lab serving portrait and commercial markets.

In a short interview with the Dead Pixels Society, H+H vice president David Drum was bullish about the combination of the two companies. He commended the Full Color management and staff, and said he was looking forward to the continued involvement of Steve Pullin, the president of Full Color.

Drum noted the acquisition also broadens the capabilities of the H+H family of companies, which include hhimagehost, an online hosting and ordering solution designed to handle high-volume photography sales; imago, a dedicated sales and marketing platform built specifically for volume photographers; and N-Vu, a specialized sales platform for professional photographers that includes online galleries, mobile apps, and in-person sales tools.
