MyHeritage Photo Storyteller

Genealogy site MyHeritage has updated its MyHeritage mobile app to add audio captioning to photos. The company calls the feature MyHeritage Photo Storyteller.

The Photo Storyteller enables users to easily record themselves or a family member describing the details of family photo, directly on photos within the gallery. There is one-hour time limit per photo. Once saved, the recording will be tagged under the name of the person who made the recording; later updates will enable multiple recordings per photo.

The free MyHeritage mobile app is available on iOS and Android and works well on both smartphones and tablets.
