Nikon terminates Image Space service

Nikon Inc. announced that it will terminate its Nikon Image Space service as of Oct. 15. Nikon Image Space, founded in 2013, offered 2GB of free storage, and was created from the previous my Picturetown service, which was launched in 2007.  In an email to users, Nikon said the company is adding storage and sharing features to Nikon Imaging Cloud instead. After Nikon Image Space begins the shutdown process on Oc.15, Nikon will add up to 5GB of storage to Nikon Imaging Cloud, which debuted in 2024 for primarily mirrorless camera users.

Image Space users will have from Oct. 15 to April 15, 2027, to bulk download their images, after which they will bre permanently deleted.
