November CIPA report continues downturn

Japan’s Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) has released its numbers for November 2017 show the continued downward trend in the digital camera market, with just 2,166,788 DSC units shipped in November 2017, or about 17% percent fewer than the same period last year. Interchangeable lens cameras are following a similar pattern, with a drop of about 20 percent for the prior two years.
