Shipments of cameras (fixed and interchangeable lenses) dropped by 3.6% in terms of numbers but increased by 4.9% in value. CIPA has published its February camera report, showing overall digital still camera shipments are down 26.6 percent, almost completely due to the on-going demise of the compact still camera.
