WhiteWall names Petra Felgen as CEO

European wall-art leader WhiteWall announced Petra Felgen is taking on the role of CEO, succeeding former Managing Director Thomas Alscheid. Together with founder and co-managing director Alexander Nieswandt, she will strategically develop the company going forward, the company said in a statement.

Felgen brings a strong international perspective. Most recently, she served as Managing Director of CEWE Ltd. UK and the Republic of Ireland, overseeing key international markets within the CEWE Group. This experience will specifically support WhiteWall in expanding its international business.

Nieswandt, who has built and shaped WhiteWall from the very beginning, will continue to be responsible for production and will also provide his expertise in an advisory role within the CEWE Group.

“WhiteWall combines the best of both worlds: state-of-the-art, highly industrialized processes and craftsmanship — driven by a true spirit of innovation,” says Felgen.

Alscheid, who significantly shaped and further developed WhiteWall as Managing Director over the past seven years, will remain with the CEWE Group in a new role.
