Photo Finale announces major updates, marketplace expansion

Photo Finale announced updates to almost every part of the platform, including the website platform and myLab, andsoon, PF Kiosk.

Here are some highlights pf PF16:

  • Control over customer info fields (configure in myLab’s General Settings).
  • Offer multiple media products (CD, DVD and USB), and customers can now order without also ordering prints (this requires the new PF Kiosk, coming soon!).
  • Improvements to increase API performance and PFWeb site loading.
  • Support for longer product and category descriptions.
  • The User Enhancement Bundle has been enhanced to drop the “Medium” upload size and offer direct, original, “My Computer” uploads to all customers, streamlining the upload process with one fewer decision and two fewer clicks.
  • The EasyLink Upload for Mobile Devices has also been upgraded to a streamlined workflow without resolution selection for User Enhancement Bundle subscribers.
  • Several new reports.
  • Security upgrades.
  • Lots of bug fixes.

Photo Finale adds to marketplace

We have added a number of new suppliers to the Photo Finale Marketplace:

Steam Arts are out of Arkansas (serving the United States) and supply stunning HD metals, direct metals, and premium acrylic prints. Ice Prints are out of Illinois (ships worldwide), and their catalog offers prints on the glass so clear they call them Ice Prints. Located in Mississauga, Ontario, and serving both Canada and the US, Photo Finale offers PLAK-IT, North America’s largest plakmount manufacturer for photo prints and posters.

The companiy’s other partners include Fujifilm PPG, Advertek, Collagewall through Dan’s Camera (US), Don’s Photo (CAN), and LA Cameras. Full list of marketplace partners here
