Sigma 85mm F1.2 DG | Art

Sigma Corporation of America, announced 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary lens, the 85mm F1.2 DG Art, and filters.

Designed to deliver both a wide-angle perspective and exceptional portability, the 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary lens weighs in at only 385g. Starting at 20mm, this zoom lens starts at a focal length significantly wider than most other standard zooms; the field of view gained from 20mm, compared to 24mm, is quite substantial on the wide end. This makes for a lens that can capture everything – from sweeping landscapes to everyday snapshots to portraits – with ease. The bright F2.8 aperture on the wide end even allows for nightscape and accessible indoor photography. The 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG | Contemporary will be available from authorized Sigma dealers in the U.S.beginning Oct. 6 for a retail price of $849 USD.

At 85mm, this lens achieves Sigma’s brightest-ever F1.2 aperture while also delivering outstanding portability. This lens is Sigma’s third F1.2 prime lens designed for mirrorless camera systems, rounding out the common trio of wide-angle, standard, and medium-telephoto focal lengths. The 85mm F1.2 DG | Art will be available from authorized Sigma dealers in the U.S. beginning Oct. 6 for a retail price of $1,599 USD.

Sigma also announced the renewal of Sigma’s filter series for interchangeable lenses. The entire lineup has been completely redesigned to achieve further performance improvements. Additionally, the design and packaging have been updated to align with Sigma’s new visual identity. Four filter models will be released on Nov. 5, 2026: the Sigma WR Ceramic Protector PTC-21, a ceramic protector offering impact resistance; the Sigma WR Protector + UV PUV-21, featuring UV protection and water- and oil-repellent coating; the standard Sigma Protector LPT-21; and the Sigma WR Circular PL Filter CPL-21, a circular polarizing filter with water- and oil-repellent coating.
