Tamron Co. Ltd. will mark the 70th anniversary of its foundation  Nov. 1, 2020. To commemorate, Tamron USA announces the launch of a photo contest for Tamron USA customers. Now through Dec. 18, 2020, Tamron USA lens users can submit an image into each of four different categories—Landscape, Wildlife, Macro, Portrait—for a chance to win the Grand Prize of $500 and any Tamron lens of his/her choice.

Submit up to one image in each category for a total of up to four entries. Photos must have been taken with a Tamron lens. Email entries to contest@tamron.com with subject line: Tamron 70th Anniversary Contest by 12/18/2020 11:59pm ET. Include your name, lens used and image data (Focal Length/Aperture/Shutter speed/ISO). Photo must have embedded EXIF data.

Prizes

The Grand Prize Winner receives $500, choice of any Tamron lens, and will be featured in Tamron editorial in 2021. One Runner-Up per category (total four runners’ up) will receive their choice of one of these select Tamron lenses:

  • 17-28mm F2.8 Di III RXD (model A046)
  • 28-75mm F2.8 Di III RXD (model A036)
  • 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 Di III RXD (model A071)
  • 17-35mm F2.8-4 Di OSD (model A037)
  • 35-150mm F2.8-4 Di VC OSD (model A043)
  • 100-400mm Di VC USD (model A035)
  • SP 90mm F2.8 Di VC USD 1:1 Macro (model F017)
  • SP 35mm F1.4 Di USD (model F045)
