Google Photos announced a new creative tools which had formerly been available in Gemini and YouTube. The most prominent feature lets users make short videos from photos saved in the photo gallery. “Imagine that perfect selfie with friends from a few years ago suddenly coming to life with subtle movements, or a cherished photo of your parent as a child smiling back at you.”

Another tools available in Google Photos will be Remix, which takes photos and makes them in anime, drawing or other styles.

All videos and photos generated with Photo to video and Remix will include an invisible SynthID digital watermark. The Create Tab will roll out next month.
