Google Photos expands AI editing tools to more users

Beginning May 15, Google Photos announced it is making available once-exclusive photo editing features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light to all users of Google Photos. Previously, those features were only available to Google One subscribers.

The company is also expanding the availability of Magic Editor. the generative AI photo editor, to all Pixel devices, not just Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Also, all Google Photos users on Android and iOS will get 10 Magic Editor saves per month. To go beyond this limit, you’ll need a Pixel device or a Premium Google One plan (2TB and above)
