Apple reports record first-quarter results, via press release. Apple posted quarterly revenue of $91.8 billion, an increase of 9 percent from the year-ago quarter and an all-time record, and quarterly earnings per diluted share of $4.99, up 19 percent, also an all-time record.
Amazon crushes earnings in Q4, via Chain Store Age. Net sales increased 21% to $87.4 billion, topping Street estimates of $86.02 billion. Amazon’s net income increased to $3.3 billion, or $6.47 per diluted share.
