Lifetouch shuttering Chesapeake, Va., plant

Lifetouch National School Studios is closing its Chesapeake, Va., production facility by Aug. 31, according to numerous media reports. There are 130 full-time employees and 38 seasonal at the Chesapeake location, according to WAVY.com.

The Chesapeake plant’s production will be shifted to parent company Shutterfly‘s soon-to-be-opened Plano, Texas, production facility, as well as three other existing manufacturing facilities in Arizona, Minnesota and South Carolina, according to the reports.
